Although we can’t deliver our courses in person at the moment we are still able to support everyone involved in steel construction by offering the same content via on-line training.

Our next on-line course is Second-order effects and Frame Stability.

This course will be given in 2 sessions (2 hours per session) on the 7 & 9 July at 10 am – 12 pm

It will demonstrate that second-order effects are always present, and how they are managed in design.

Starting with members and then moving on to entire frames, the course will review the behaviour being assessed, and how this is covered in the design standards.  The design of braced frames and portal frames will form the core of the course.

Please Reserve your place by sending an email to Education@steel-sci.com

We will confirm your booking and contact you with payment procedures once we have confirmed the course is running.

The cost of this course is
Member Rate: £120.00 +VAT
Non-member Rate: £150 +VAT
