SCI – STROBE Research project needs your help
As part of the European research project STROBE (STRONGER STEELS IN THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT), we are studying the response of high strength steel beams with yield strengths from 460 to 690 MPa. Vertical deflection and dynamic response are critical in many cases for high strength steel beams. As part of our study, we are carrying out a Europe-wide survey to develop a clear understanding of what is current practice in terms of deflection checks.
