Bassam Burgan will be presenting at the Structural Mechanics in Reactor Technology Conference (SMiRT 25) in Charlotte, North Carolina. The conference, which takes place between 4 and 9 August, attracts more than 600 delegates with over 500 technical presentations. During the conference, world experts across scientific and engineering disciplines will discuss the latest topics under the general theme of “NUCLEAR ENERGY FOR A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE.” Bassam’s presentation deals with the construction of a diesel generator building using double skin composite steel-concrete (SC) construction. He will also be chairing a number of the conference technical sessions.
